Frequently asked questions
So what is Nutrons?
Nutrons is a roasted energy nut mix with caffeine, creatine monohydrate and vitamin B3, made for anyone who needs an energy boost on the go, while gaming or during an ordinary day, without a can or a powder. Every pack also carries a QR code that takes you into Nu-Terra, the Nutrons world.
What's the difference between an Energybox and an Energypack?
The Energypack is a single 60 g portion for the road or your desk. The Energybox bundles 12 Energypacks in a value pack, so you don't have to reorder all the time.
What's in the Mix the Fun Bundle and the Try Bundle?
Both bundles are there to help you get started: you get several flavors or formats combined, instead of having to commit to one taste up front.
What ingredients are in the energy nut mix?
Roasted nuts with a thin, functional coating of caffeine, creatine monohydrate and vitamin B3 (niacin), plus further ingredients depending on the flavor. You'll find the full ingredient list in each product description here in our shop.
How much caffeine is in it, and who should skip it?
A 60 g Energypack contains 50 mg of caffeine.
About as much as a cup of black tea, an espresso or half an energy drink.
Not recommended for children under 16 or for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Does creatine only make sense for bodybuilders?
No. Creatine is something your body produces itself every day, whether you train or not. It refills the fast-access energy stores in your cells, which is exactly what counts during short, intense efforts.
Why is vitamin B3 (niacin) in there?
Under the approved EU claim, niacin contributes to a normal energy metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness. We only use it in an amount that actually achieves that effect, not as label decoration.
Does the nut mix contain sugar, and why not none at all?
Yes, a small amount. In the coating, sugar acts as a binder, gives texture and takes the edge off the bitterness of the caffeine. We use as little as technically makes sense, rather than replacing it with sweeteners, which often leave an unpleasant aftertaste in a coating.
Why isn't Nutrons organic certified?
Creatine monohydrate is produced synthetically and, under the EU organic regulation, can't simply be labeled organic in a functional product like ours. We made a deliberate choice for function. Besides, for us sustainability and positive impact mean more than just "organic" – read more in "Mission".
Where are the nut mixes produced?
Our nuts are roasted and packed by a specialist partner in Slovenia. Short routes within the EU instead of overseas supply chains.
Does it contain allergens?
Yes – Nutrons is a nut product and is therefore generally not suitable for people with a nut allergy. You'll find the full ingredient and allergen labeling on every pack and in the product descriptions on this website.
How do I store the nut mixes, and how long do they keep?
The pack is sealed under protective gas to keep the nuts fresh. Store them cool, dry and out of direct sunlight. The best-before date is printed on every pack, and once opened they're best eaten before long.
What's the QR code on the pack for?
Every pack carries a unique QR code that takes you straight to our web portal – no app store, no download, just your browser. There you can play, collect, get to know the world of Nu-Terra and become part of our community.
What does shipping cost, and how fast will my order arrive?
Shipping costs are calculated from your location and the items in your order, and shown to you before you buy – orders from €50 ship free. As soon as your order leaves the warehouse, you'll get an email with all the shipping details. Usually within 2–4 days.
Can I return or exchange an order?
If something's wrong with your order, just get in touch and we'll sort it out together. Because this is food, opened packs can't be taken back for hygiene reasons, unless there's a defect.
