What Early Access means to us — and why we prefer to start openly unfinished rather than pretending everything is already perfect.
You know the principle
Early Access means: The thing is usable, but not finished. Those who join early get less polish and more influence.
That's exactly how we're doing it — but not just with one game, but with the whole package: Snack, web app, Nu-Terra.
Why we're starting slow
We could wait until everything is ready, and then launch big. We're not doing that because there are two things we can't figure out at our desks.
First: how the product actually works for you. We know the recipe down to the last decimal point. How a serving feels after four hours of ranked play, after a night shift, or during the last third of a tour — only you know that.
Second: what the world around it really brings you. We're building Nu-Terra, the NutriVerse, the web app, cards, figures. What's fun about it and what's only fun for us will only become clear once you're in it.
The Roadmap
-
Now: small start, deliberately limited. [# Specify scope of current phase]
-
Early November: Full Release with v1. [# Confirm date before publication]
-
After that: it continues. We're not finished with v1, we're ready to launch then.
What Early Access is not
Not an excuse.
Unfinished for us means: functions are still missing. It doesn't mean that what's there doesn't work. And it also doesn't mean that you're guinea pigs — what we promise, we deliver; what we can't yet do, we tell you beforehand.
What we need from you
Three questions, and honest answers to them:
-
How does it affect you — and in what situation?
-
What do you actually use from the world around it, and what did you leave after one look?
-
What's missing?
[# Insert feedback channel: Discord, form, or both]
And also tell us if something is rubbish. Politely concealed criticism helps no one — least of all you, because then we can't fix it.
Why this is not a marketing trick
Because it makes us vulnerable. A brand that says "we're not finished yet" provides everyone with the immediate template.
We still think it's the better deal: rather build with you and admit mistakes, than build alone to completion and then realize that we've built past the need.
Stay curious. And stay critical.
