THE CODE ON THE PACKAGE IS A DOOR

DER CODE AUF DER PACKUNG IST EINE TÜR

Each package has a QR code. Behind it is not a datasheet, but the entrance to Nu-Terra. What happens when you scan – and what you get out of it.

What happens when you scan

Point your camera, open the link. No download, no App Store, no installation — the web app runs in the browser.

The first time you scan, you create your access; after that, the system recognizes you. From the second time on, it's a breeze. [# Finalize process and wording with Emile and Thomas]

The decision not to have an app to install was a conscious one. Every installation is a hurdle, and we didn't want a hurdle between a package and the world behind it.

Why every package has its own number

The code on your package is not the same as the one on the package next to it. Each one is unique. [# Scope of the first edition: approx. 24,000 codes — confirm number before publication]

There are two reasons for this. First, each code can only be redeemed once – otherwise, a screenshot in a Discord group would be the end of any reward. Second, it makes the package a key instead of a link. A link is something you share. A key is something you possess.

What you get

[# Confirm reward logic with Emile and Thomas before this section goes live. To clarify: Coins per scan, drop/loot box mechanics, progress/level, access to the Nu-Terra archive, what of this is already in v1 and what will come later.]

What is already true: every scan brings something. There is no lottery where 9,999 people get nothing and one person wins a car. We always found that to be the most dishonest form of reward.

Why we are building this at all

A package is usually trash once it's empty. Ours should do something before that.

However, there is more to it than just a nice extra. Nu-Terra, the Nut Heroes, the NutriVerse — for us, this is not decoration around the snack, but the actual thing. The snack is the entry. The code is the door.

What we don't want

No mountains of data. We need to know which code has been redeemed and what progress it belongs to — that is the technical core. Everything beyond that is a decision we make consciously and not tacitly. [# Finalize data protection section with Thomas and legally]

Where the code is located

[# Add position on the package, possibly with illustration]

And if the scan doesn't work: [# Insert support path]. We are in early access — if something gets stuck, feedback is worth more than frustration.

"A code is just a number. What makes it a door is that someone on the other side has opened it." — Professor Pecan
